A Gymnastics Meet

One morning I jumped out of bed looking  for my purple leotard. And then I had to look for my fuzzy gymnastics shorts. Have you ever been to regionals with your team? I found everything so I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and change and then I brushed my hair up into a bun and put on a black scrunchie and then my purple one so it can stay together. Then I got in the  front seat and we drove off to gymnastics. When we got there I went to my team and we started stretching. Then we went to practice our floor routine- I was up first and I got to my starting corner. I did a cartwheel, backhandspring, split jump, turn, front handspring, forward roll, split, pose, and I was finished. After, it was time for the show. I was first up on bars. I started with my kipp. I got up did a handstand turn round up twist finish and everyone clapped. I  laughed. Then we went to vault and I was up first up again. I ran as fast as I can I got up to the spring.  I jumped and did a front tuck twist and stuck it. Everyone  jumped up and clapped. In my head I said everyone loves me. I smiled, my mom smiled back  I was very happy that I landed it because I’ve been working on it all week!
